You're envisioning a gathering with 20-60 of your closest people for your wedding
you care more about the experience than the production
you’re drawn to shared meals, conversation, and slow moments
you want your wedding to feel relaxed, not scheduled

Serving couples on Vancouver Island, Vancouver, Sea to Sky, Lower Mainland, and across BC.
You’re planning something smaller, more personal — a weekend with your people, a long table, good food, and space to actually be present.
These are the weddings I'm drawn to -- The ones that feel relaxed, a little unstructured, and deeply considered in their own quiet way. Focusing on how it feels, rather than just how it looks.
You’re not planning a big, performative wedding.
I photograph intimate weddings across Vancouver, Sea to Sky, and Vancouver Island on film — documenting what naturally unfolds rather than directing it.
The focus isn’t perfection. It’s the feeling of being there: the energy of the room, the way people gather, the moments that happen in between.
You’re not planning a big, performative wedding.
Film has a way of slowing things down. I photograph on 35mm film, which means each frame is intentional—there’s no overshooting or constant clicking. That pace creates space for real moments to unfold naturally.
The result is imagery that feels soft, honest, and a little imperfect in the best way—like something remembered rather than staged.
I do also shoot on a digital camera throughout the day for security, and these photos will augment your film gallery. Most galleries I deliver are approximately 80% film and 20% digital.
I’m based on the West Coast and photograph weddings in Vancouver, along the Sea to Sky, and on Vancouver Island.
Most of the celebrations I document happen in places that feel personal—backyards, coastal homes, intimate venues, and restaurants. I’m always open to traveling for gatherings that share that same spirit!
The weddings I’m drawn to are intimate, intentional, and thoughtfully hosted.
Often they look more like a dinner party than a production—shared meals, long conversations, good wine, and a room (or garden) full of people who really matter to you.
Guest counts are typically on the smaller side, but more than anything, it’s about how the day feels.
My work is rooted in observation and a deep sense of listening.
I’m not there to interrupt the day or turn it into a photoshoot. Instead, I pay attention—to the way people interact, the energy of a space, the quieter in-between moments that often go unnoticed.
I’ll gently guide when needed, to keep you feeling comfortable, but this will facilitate connection rather than interrupting it. I want you to be fully in the day, not performing it.
You might be if you’re drawn to a slower, more intentional way of doing things.
If you care about connection over perfection, if you’re planning something that feels personal and a little untraditional, and if you want your photos to reflect how it all felt—not just how it looked.
If that sounds like you, I’d love to hear what you’re dreaming up.
