Danielle and Dave wanted to plan an elopement in nature from the start, but when the pandemic changed the rules up, they decided to keep it close to home: an intimate wedding at Gander Lake, where they love to spend summer days.
With a few chairs set up for their immediate family, their new baby watching from his grandmother’s lap, and their dogs free to wander in and out of the photos, these two said their vows in the golden evening sun on the edge of the beach.
Afterward we wandered along the lakeshore where everything felt like the calm lap of water at our toes.
So often Newfoundland elopements take place in dramatic and exciting landscapes – here is your reminder that there are gentle spaces available too if that is more your vibe.
