Welcome!
Hi folks, I'm Heather (they/them), and I am so Glad that you are here!
I'm a Revelstoke Documentary Wedding Photographer and I truly believe in crafting a wedding that is deeply intentional and reflective of who you are as a couple and the life you're building. If you'd rather a beautiful experience focused on connection and presence than a big flashy wedding, you're in the right place!
Based in Revelstoke and happy to travel to Kelowna, Vancouver, Victoria, Canmore, and beyond.

"WITH THEIR DIRECTION AND THEIR SWEET SPIRIT THEY MADE US FEEL SO AT EASE AND RELAXED."
"WE LOVE CANDID MOMENTS THAT ARE AUTHENTIC AND TRUE, AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT WE RECEIVED."
"Their ability to capture the little details and the raw emotion throughout the day was truly remarkable."
Documented as it unfolds, not staged for the camera.
Real connection creates the most meaningful photographs.
Emotion and atmosphere matter more than perfection.
Every image is made with intention, care, and respect for the moment.
A slower, more mindful approach allows space for presence.

If you’re planning a wedding that feels less like a production and more like a gathering — one rooted in presence, connection, and meaning — you’re not alone. More couples in St. John’s and across Newfoundland are choosing intimacy over spectacle, quality and Sustainability over excess, and experiences over expectations. They want a day that reflects how they actually live: thoughtfully, creatively, and with care.
My photography is made for couples who move through the world intentionally. The kind of people who linger over dinner with friends, who support local makers, who appreciate good design and honest materials. Couples who value how a moment feels far more than how it looks on social media. If that sounds like you, this work will likely resonate.
I approach wedding photography the same way you might approach hosting a beautiful dinner at home — with attention, warmth, and respect for what unfolds naturally. I don’t rush moments or force interactions. Instead, I create space for you to be fully present with each other and the people you love. What I document is not a performance, but the real rhythm of your day: the quiet anticipation, the shared glances, the laughter that comes from feeling truly at ease.
Working with both 35 mm film and digital photography, I blend the softness, texture, and timeless quality of film with the flexibility of digital coverage. Film slows things down. It asks for intention. Each frame is chosen carefully — much like the way you might choose the art you hang on your walss. because it feels right. The result is imagery that feels honest, tactile, and enduring.
Whether your wedding takes place in the mountains surrounding Revelstoke, gathered around the backyard of your grandparent's house, or tucked away in one of the incredible local restaurants, a setting filled with candlelight and conversation, my role is to document your connection to each other and to place — without pulling you out of the moment.
Your wedding photos shouldn’t just show what happened — they should bring you back into the feeling of it. Years from now, I want you to remember not only how it looked, but how it felt to be there surrounded by your closest people. The warmth, the closeness, the ease. The beginning of a life lived intentionally, together.
If you’re planning an intimate wedding or Micro Wedding in Revelstoke, BC or elsewhere in BC and want photography that reflects your values, your pace, and your connection — you’re in the right place.
