Some weddings are best celebrated where a couple feels at home—and for Emily and Patrick, that place was a quiet campground on Vancouver Island.
Emily began the day at her grandparents’ cabin, surrounded by a few family and chosen family members, easing into the morning with calm, laughter, and little moments that felt entirely their own.
The ceremony took place on the beach, the wind weaving through their hair, the waves providing a natural soundtrack. Nothing was staged, nothing felt forced—just them, fully present in the moment.
Afterward, the celebration moved to a long table set up right in the campground, adorned with treasures they had collected that morning along the shore. Local flowers, driftwood, and found objects made the table feel personal, tactile, and completely in harmony with the surroundings.
Every moment of this intimate wedding was lived fully—joyful, unhurried, and deeply connected. The kind of day that lingers in memory long after it ends, not because of grand gestures, but because of presence, care, and the people who matter most.

If you’re planning an intimate wedding in BC that feels relaxed and grounded, I’d love to connect!
