On a sun-drenched afternoon, Annika and Matt brought together their vibrant, creative lives beneath the old apple trees on the local farm. Guests arrived from near and far, wearing vibrant colours, catching up, laughing, and filling the space with energy. It felt like a gathering where everyone could simply be themselves, and the joy was contagious.
The day unfolded naturally, full of mingling, playful moments, and warm conversation. As evening approached, the mood softened a little—guests gathered around a long, thoughtfully set table for dinner, catered by a private chef, savouring good food, local craft beers, and each other’s company.
Then the magic of the night took over. Sparklers were lit. Annika’s incredible second look—her grandmother’s wedding dress, reimagined by Sooley Designs—was revealed. A surprise saxophone. and suddenly the entire gathering became a joyful, dancing, laughing celebration. .
Captured entirely on 35mm film, the photos reflect the energy, color, and personality of the day—the playful expressions, the bright attire, the candid laughter, and the little moments of connection that make a wedding feel uniquely theirs.
This is a wedding full of personality: lively, joyful, thoughtfully designed, and unapologetically fun.
